I had the procedure done a week ago. A few hour after having the band placed I had to have it removed because I was in a kind of pain that there are no words for. Along with that my rectal muscles continuously contracted and my bladder began retaining fluids. After having the procedure reversed I had to take a trip to the er to have a cathidor placed and needed to take muscle relaxers to calm my rectal and bladder muscles. A week later, having a bowel movement is like something from a horror movie it is so painful. I am so thankful all of u have made your post, now I know I'm not alone. My doctor did not worn me of any of these side effects. Instead he to told me it was quick and completely painless. Boy was he wrong! I would never recombined this procedure to anyone.
