What to Eat in the first Trimester of Pregnancy
When you grow a life inside you, you must keep your body healthy and prepared to face the changes it will go through all these nine months. A period of nine months of pregnancy is very important. However first three months are very crucial as in this period of time, fetus gets attached to the walls of the uterus and start growing. A slight mistake may cause harm to the baby creating complicated events. Many women suffer from morning sickness which makes them nutrition deficient. Nausea with morning sickness causes dehydration reduces salt level in the body and nutritional deficiency.
Morning sickness in the early pregnancy is very common. This makes women deprive of many vitamins and minerals. However woman can adopt the following ways to get proper nutrition.
• Eat small meals at intervals.
• In early pregnancy you might tempted to have sweet food or some might like to try spicy one. Eat what your body craves for.
• Dehydration in pregnancy is not good and thus one must keep drinking water or any other fluid like fruit juices to replenish the lost water content.
• Include fruits, veggies, dairy stuff, whole grains and healthy fats in your diet. You must avoid sushi and raw eggs as these can be harmful in pregnancy.
