How to cancel a Southwest flight? Cancelling a flight is a nightmare all around. Most airlines impose significant adjustment fees and offer very little compensation for missed flights. Southwest, thankfully, does not charge any modification or undoing fees. You have up to 10 minutes before your flight to drop as far as possible. The movement subsidies should be used within a year of the date of purchase of the ticket.
