Skin:
• Do not take this medicine by mouth. For skin only. Keep out of mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
• Wash hands before and after use.
• Clean affected area before use. Make sure to dry well.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and rub in gently.
• The treatment area may be covered with dressing.
Eye:
• For the eye only.
• Wash hands before and after use.
• Do not touch the container tip to the eye, lid, or other skin.
• Tilt head back.
• Pull down lower eyelid of affected eye/eyes.
• Apply a thin film of ointment into the lower eye.
• Close eye and roll eyeball around for 1-2 minutes.
• Use other eye medicine 10 minutes after the ointment.
• Apply a missed dose as soon as possible.
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular schedule.
• Do not apply a double dose or extra doses.

• Talk with healthcare provider before starting any new medicine, including over-the-counter, natural products, or vitamins.
• Check medicines with healthcare provider. This medicine may not mix well with other medicines.
• Do not use longer than needed. Secondary infections may develop.
• Use care when applying. Staining may occur.
• Avoid wearing contacts unless instructed by healthcare provider.
• Tell healthcare provider if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant.
• Tell healthcare provider if you are breast-feeding.
Skin:
• Swelling.
• Rash.
• Itching.
• Irritation.
Eye:
• Blurred vision. Use caution when driving or doing other tasks that require you to have clear vision.
• Tearing.
• If you suspect an overdose, call your local poison control center or emergency department immediately.
• Signs of a life-threatening reaction. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue skin color; fits; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat.
• Sudden change in vision, eye pain, or irritation.
• Severe skin irritation.
• Any rash.
• No improvement in condition or feeling worse.
• If you have an allergy to bacitracin, neomycin, polymyxin B, or any other part of this medicine.
• Tell healthcare provider if you are allergic to any medicine. Make sure to tell about the allergy and how it affected you. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other symptoms involved.
• Bacitracin, neomycin, and polymyxin B work to injure the bacteria and fight the infection.
• This medicine is used to prevent or treat skin infections.
• This medicine is used to prevent or treat eye infections.
