I've been taking 400 mg (capsules) twice daily for just over a year, since I got Lyme. Prior to that, I used it every time I got a tickle in my throat, preventing sore throats and colds from developing. Last night I came home from work with an earache beginning. By the time I went to bed I couldn't stand the pain(level about six out of ten.) I put five drops of tincture in my ear and tilted my head for two minutes, keeping it from running out. I was able to sleep and woke up with minimal pain in my ear. Added another five drops for good measure.
