I have hep c and advanced cirrhosis. The progression has been very slow for the past 40 years with no real symptoms. However, about 3 months ago it seemed that the progression reached a different stage. I ran a fever all day every day, but it was so bad at night that it was almost unbearable. Also, I was diagnosed with advanced ascites in the abdomen. My stomach appeared swollen and I routinely developed any infectious illness I was exposed to. Life was not worth living. I had surrendered to the inevitability of my death, and got by the best I could. It seemed there were no good days left. Each day was filled with irritability, mental fog, fever, and fatigue. In early may 2012, I learned about kamalahar from the internet. I was told that the pharmacy in India recommended a 6 month treatment. I first ordered enough for 3 months and began taking it. At almost 3 months into it, I actually felt worse and considered stopping it but knew I had nothing to lose so I stayed on it. A couple of weeks later, I actually felt the fever begin to disappear. For 2 or 3 days, it seemed that my inner body was undergoing some strange heating up process that was quite different than fever. After about a week of this, I woke up one morning and felt enormously better with an inner well being, restored energy levels, and much less fatigue. To be honest, I almost cried with gratitude. It was like returning to a beloved place that had been almost been forgotten. This is the point I'm at now, but I honestly believe that I am drastically improving. I know the next liver enzyme blood test will reflect a progression back to normal. I'm energetic and happy.
