I have had this done 6-7 times since 2002.Never had a CT. My hematologist/ onocologist does the procedure in his office.I even went to the National Institute of Health in Bethesda Md. Top doc I had Dr,Neal Young and we did not do a ct. Sounds like the hospital wanted more money.

Shared experience with Bone Marrow Biopsy 10 years ago

I have had 6 or 7 biopsies. Can't recall. Changes have been seen with all. I have MDS,First it was ITP. Yes it hurts a bit but..you want to know what is happening!!!
