I was diagnosed with ulceritive colitis in 2009, shortly after I was laid off. I believe the stress involved triggered the problem. I was a former smoker at the time. Shortly afterwards I resumed smoking and my symptoms disappeared. I have also tried ecigarettes and have had ssimilar results.
