mullein oil can be used in earache. The earache of children is quickly vanished when mullein oil is dropped in ear - 3-4 drops.

I have COPD and used to get around 3 severe lung infections a year. I have been using (smoking) Mullein for 3 years now and have not had one lung infection. I don't need to use it often.

Used 2,000mg daily since 9/24 (today is 10/3/23-so 10 days) Immediate relief from intense knee/back hip pain within 24-48 hours. (7-9 on pain scale even waking hourly due to severe pain while sleeping.--Down to "3" and 1st increased mobility up stairs and walking in almost 1 year.) I was testing it for my husband who was denied hip surgery for July (bone on bone arthritis) and ended up with a preop clearance cardiac fail (80% occlusion) and resultant stent in June. For the FIRST time in 2 years his daily -screaming pain level of 9 plummeted to "1" -- 48s hour from his first mullein dose but, I'm fearful of its effects on the blood viscosity and both of us are not sure if a rise in both our BP's (160-170/90-100) from our average 130/60 -- is stress /meds or mullein related. He didn't have a dose yesterday to check BP effects and the relief was still present but, he's starting to feel the pain creep back up to a 4 and he's asking for a dose! There is a lack of info on interactions with mullein. he's on Metoprolol, Lisinopril, iron, Plavix, atorvastatin, HC03, and ASA. Would love to know any information regarding effects of people with stents or on these meds. Wish we had found this sooner.

The ad which led me to try Mullein spoke of its property to "break up" accumulated mucus in the lungs, leading to their release from the body. There were no real reactions following the first few doses, but I definitely wasn't expelling a lot of mucus. What developed on the 3rd or 4th day - late at night - was a chronic cough, accompanied by wheezing, and a good deal of pain on the upper right side. Since I've been up this morning, I haven't coughed... nor have I taken another dose. The cough was never productive. Could the Mullein have caused the cough?
